Eros Ramazotti is undoubtedly one of the most successful Italian singer-songwriters of all time. With his unmistakable voice and emotional songs, the musician has won the hearts of millions of fans. His career began in the early 1980s, when Eros Ramazotti won the renowned Sanremo Festival in the newcomer category in 1984 with the song Terra promessa. This victory laid the foundation for an impressive music career. Eros Ramazotti's international breakthrough came with his debut Cuori agitati (1985) and In certi momenti (1987), which included hits such as Adesso tu and Musica è. His albums Tutte storie (1993) and Dove c'è musica (1996) sold millions of copies and reached the top of the charts not only in his home country but also in several other countries. Eros Ramazotti has worked with international stars such as Tina Turner, Cher, Anastacia and Ricky Martin. In particular, Musica è, a duet with Andrea Bocelli, was celebrated by critics and fans alike.
Eros Ramazotti's sound combines Italian pop music with rock and Latin influences. His songs often deal with love, longing and personal experiences. Ramazzotti's distinctive, slightly nasal voice is his trademark and gives his songs a high recognition value.
